So here he is, completely finished, ready for the competition on Saturday. He was a blast to paint, simple as. Basically, he had lots of stuff that I don't normally paint. I really had fun and can't wait to see how he does.

Nurgle Chaos Lord Finished (except the Banner)
This guy is now done, except for the banner he's going to be holding in his left hand. That's built, ready for painting. I'll go through him, bit by bit when he's completely finished. for now, the basics of certain parts.

Nurgle Chaos Lord Part 2, Speed Painting(?), and 500 pageviews
He's coming along nicely, slowly but surely. The armour just needs the metallic weathering powder, when the models done, the axe needs to be done, the skulls etc. need to be painted, the horns need a bit more work and the gore, intestines and cloth are all done. Hopefully the next update will be the finished model and a few how to's!
The day of the painting competition, theres also two speed painting contests. One of them I'm considering entering: you buy a plastic character (like the lord above) and have two hours to build it and paint it! I'm thinking of painting the necromancer (I love the model!), but am undecided.
As a final note, I hit 500 page views earlier today! Thank You!!

Nurgle Chaos Lord: Part 1
This is the Nurgle Chaos Lord fully built. He was done before I painted the stealth suit in my last post but I nearly chickened out out of painting him. Not fully, but I might have left him until the last minute and not painted him well. I was really nervous about painting this guy as he was going to be an experiment in a lot of things. I'll get to that later though!

National Painting Competition
This is simply an update post. I'm taking a break from painting my firewarriors for a short while to take part in this:
It is being billed as the national painting competition but seeing as there is only one GW store in the country, it's basically a store competition. Nonetheless, I'm entering it for the fun of it. I'm planning on entering a stealth suit squad that I've built and a converted Nurgle Chaos Lord that I'm getting tomorrow. Basically I'm going to concentrate on these two entries until they're done, then return to the fire warriors.
